François D’Haene, a legend of the sport, is known for mastering the 100-mile distance with four victories at both UTMB and the Diagonale des Fous.

But the Tor des Géants is something else entirely: 330 kilometers through the Italian Alps, with over 24,000 meters of elevation gain.

After a devastating ankle injury in 2022, followed by a series of setbacks and a DNF at Hardrock in 2024, the question remains: Can he come back and conquer the Tor?
